Extra large head space makes room for gear, and a no-see-um mesh comes in handy when the bugs are out for blood. This bivy is ideal for alpine pursuits, extreme weather, or any time you want to skip the weight and bulk of a tent.

The tapered shape of the Alpine AscentShell Bivy works best with tapered-shape sleeping pads with narrower dimensions at the foot, ideally 22 inches or narrower.
