The 5400 Porter pack is designed for explorers that want to do all the things. With added capacity for clothing, dry suits, additional days’ worth of food, or supplementary equipment like boats, paddles, or ropes, this pack is crucial for the multi-est multisporter. Ideal for four-season, extended trips into the backcountry where resupply points aren’t available and/or bulkier cold weather gear is required.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear designed the Porter for the expert ultralight backpacker or climber who moves fast, goes far and travels light. It’s ideal for shorter-duration adventures, where you’re sharing gear with your partner. Made from 100% waterproof Dyneema® Composite Fabrics (formerly Cuben Fiber), this backpack is highly durable and weatherproof. Use it with Hyperlite Stuff Sacks (sold separately) for a nearly perfect waterproof kit.
